A Little Visit with the Little Ones

Our little granddaughter Mia Marie was scheduled for heart surgery on December 16th in order to fix a heart valve that didn’t close by itself after birth.  Mia was born five weeks early and we learned that happens often when babies are born prematurely.  Well, I wanted to see the little honey bunny before they went to the hospital so we drove to Nick and Jen’s place for a little visit the night of December 15th.

The surgery was successful and Mia came home from the hospital on Wednesday, December 22nd, just in time for Christmas.
