The annual Open House at the Victoria Fire Station was held this year on a cold and windy Saturday, October 6th, and so I stayed inside the station this time. It was well attended, the food was warm and tasty, the hot chocolate was hot, and there were exhibits with information. |
Sparky the friendly fire dog showed up at the Victoria Open House and stopped by to visit Marge Robling, Elaine Williams, and Marge Leuthner. |

Visitors to the Open House were served sloppy joes and hot dogs, chips and cookies, hot chocolate, juice, and coffee with a smile. Some of the wives and girl friends of the Victoria firefighters serving lunch included (l-r): Michelle Mayes, Sarah Rivers, Amanda Stang, Jessiger Heger, Lindsay Personius, and Sherri Walsh. |

Northstar Search and Rescue was part of this year’s Open House in Victoria. They are an all-volunteer nonprofit organization that assists law enforcement and other governmental agencies in finding and recovering lost persons.
