Lions Spring Fling 2015

It was a lovely May Day Friday evening under the big top as the Victoria Lions held their second annual Spring Fling fundraiser.  The 40-foot by 80-foot tent accommodated 27 vendors offering food and drink samples to over 400 guests.

All Victoria girls, left to right:  Karen Notermann, Mary Moore, Judy Forcier, Ellen Rolf, Sandy Krause, and Roxie Sackett.  Some of their husbands are Victoria Lions.  Some of them are not.

Bill Roberts and friends:  Lori Gasow of Chaska, Sara and Bill Roberts of Victoria (and Roberts Automatic of Chanhassen), Melanie Miller of Waconia, and Christine Ebert of Waconia.

It was a pretty lovely park setting from all sides of the tent.

Larry Harris is a son of Virginia Harris, first Victoria City Administrator featured in the recent February 2015 issue of the Gazette.  Larry and Tammy are residents of Victoria.

That’s Margaret and Lion LeRoy Worm on the bookends, and Gail and Lion Vern Buller in the center.  The Bullers are residents of Victoria.  The Worms are residents of St. Boni.
