Thanksgiving Day with Mom and Dad

Volunteers at the Lochwood House, where Mom now lives in Marshall, only a few blocks from Boulder Estates where Dad lives, served us a delicious, traditional turkey dinner that included mashed potatoes, stuffing, squash, fruit salad, and pie.

You maybe know my brother Bernie on the left, my sister Nancy in red, and her daughter Lori on the right.

Everybody helps feed Mom, who especially perks up for my brother Paul.

My sister Barb sent me this picture a couple days ago.  It makes us all feel good when Mom smiles for us.

Allan and I hope to be with Mom and Dad at least a couple times yet before Christmas.  It’s an easy drive — two hours and twenty minutes — when the roads are good.
