At Wintergreen.  We had a pizza party at our house with some of the neighbors on Labor Day, 2004.  We had a tug of war, gunny sack races, and minnow races for the kids.  Here are the names of the kids in the photo.  It is from the top of the playhouse and down the slide:  Eric Saboe, Ben Schumann, Casey Steffens, Michael Mahlen, Lucas Nielsen, Bailey Johnson, Kathleen Peglow, T.J. Birds of a feather. What a beautiful day!  I'm heading off to lunch with my sisters for a birthday celebration.  I'm dropping off a picture of the kids, Zach and Elise, on the left, and their cousin Matthew Etheridge who all got a Reserve Champion ribbon in Poultry at the Minnesota State Fair.  Elise won 2nd place in Showmanship out of 100 kids.  It was thrill-ing.  Zach won his in Bantam Breeding Pen, and Matthew in Large Bird Breeding Pen.  Sarah Etheridge, not pictured, won Champion.  I sure hope there might be room in the Gazette this month for the picture.  Thanks, Sue.

Sacked for fun.  Victoria Parks, Recreation, and Field House rents picnic kits to residents.  This kit contains a tug-o-war rope, gunny sacks, various types of balls, frisbees, cones, and more.  The residents of the Wintergreen neighborhood in Victoria enjoyed the picnic kit at a neighborhood event.
