The Victoria GAZETTE |
To the Editor: Thank you, Sue, for printing the photo of my parents, John and Margaret (Diethlem) Boll, in last month's Gazette. We, my sisters and I, have so very few photos of my dad. Thank you, again. Carol J. (Boll) Sabol Watertown, Minnesota
To the Editor: I sent last month's Gazette to George Batzli (in Illinois) and he loved all the pictures of the Batzli folk. Read it cover to cover! Elizabeth Batzli Excelsior, Minnesota
To the Editor: Hello to all. Enclosed is a check to renew my subscription to the Gazette for the year. Also, found the fishhook on page 27 on the hockey helmet. In the meantime, good luck to the Irish and Happy Easter. As you can see, my "art" is not as good as Gunanr's. Ethel T. Schneider Shakopee, Minnesota
To the Editor: The Sheriff is looking for a date in April that would work to host a Media Day with the local media. I thought it best to give you some dates that may work with their schedules before moving forward. Please let me know what your first, second, and third choices would be. Thanks, and enjoy this beautiful weather. Leslie Michel Carver County Sheriff’s Office
To the Editor: Hi. I was the second place winner in the recent Ice Fishing Contest in Victoria. I am checking to see if I could get a copy of my picture. I will pay cost for the picture. I was wearing a brown hat and black sunglasses. Thank you. Nolan Conley Chaska, Minnesota
To the Editor: Thank you for the story you published in the February issue on our son Tim. You did such a nice job on the page layout that we decided to have it matted and framed. Now we have a really neat keepsake. Thanks again for all you do. Teresa and Tom Gregory Victoria, Minnesota
To the Editor: Thank you, Carver County residents, for your generous, kindhearted, and deeply needed support of the CAP Agency's "Give Where You Live" campaign. Because of your thoughtful contributions in these uncertain times $249,389 was raised to benefit local families through services such as Crisis Nursery, Food Shelf, Emergency Services, Meals on Wheels, and Transitional Housing. CAP serves people in times of transitional need -- those who have lost their jobs, families working two or more jobs who still cannot make ends meet, the elderly whose incomes do not stretch far enough to cover food, housing, and medication. Through providing food, assistance, and essential services, CAP helps bridge a path to hope for those who are in great need. Your generosity towards your less fortunate neighbors is greatly valued. While you may never know exactly whom your donation benefited, the appreciation shown by those you have helped in their time of need has been heartfelt and sincere. Sincerely, Carolina Bradpiece Executive Director, CAP Agency Scott-Carver-Dakota Counties
