To the Editor: Hi, Mom. Just got your November Gazette. Anxious to read about the Lehners but will make pancakes and eggs for Gunnar first. Love you. Jenny Tioga, North Dakota
To the Editor: Excellent article on the Lehners' 50th. Mal Macalpine Victoria, Minnesota
To the Editor: Enjoyed your article this morning on Al and Louise Lehner. You write like a poet. I am in awe of that. Your fishhook is on page 36 in the Black Friday ad. Donna Williams Eden Prairie, Minnesota
To the Editor: As you're giving thanks in your own special way, may you feel very blessed on Thanksgiving Day. Thank you isn't enough for all you do, and did, to make us look good. We love you. Al and Louise Lehner Victoria, Minnesota
To the Editor: Thanks for reading yet another email! Wanted to say how much I appreciated the story on Louise and Al. I learned so much about them that I didn't know at all. Louise has been a great help to me in my life through many years. She inspires me with her attitude and "bent" hair. Also wanted you to know that a woman I coached, Danita Bye, moved to North Dakota. She was originally from North Dakota and wants to make a difference there. She wrote a book called Letters to the King. Beautiful. I'm supposed to drive to Eau Claire tomorrow morning to speak for caregivers, 380 of them in a church. "Keep Calm and Care On" is the theme. They may have to cancel. Such a dilemma. The caregivers will be oldies like me and not wanting to go out in the snow and ice -- oh my! -- and the food is prepared already for 380 folks. Thank you for all the music you continually provide at church. Janie Jasin Victoria, Minnesota
To the Editor: Good morning, Sue. There are two events happening in November that we invite you to attend. The first is a Welcome Reception for Laurie Hokkanen, our new City Manager, on Monday, November 17th, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at City Hall. Light refreshments will be served. The second event is a Community Development Director Candidate Reception on Thursday, November 20th. Candidates for the Community Development Director position will be on hand for a meet and greet with community members. The reception is from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. at City Hall. Light refreshments will be served. Jessica Beise, Executive Assistant City of Victoria, Minnesota
To the Editor: Hello, Sue. Since the City of Victoria is no longer a member of the Lake Minnetonka Communications Commission, please take us off your mailing list for the Victoria Gazette. I believe there were two subscriptions for former LMCC employees Sally Koenecke and Sue Paurus. The paper was a great resource for us in the past. Thank you. Chris Vogt, LMCC Productions Manager Spring Park, Minnesota
