*Council approved an annual service and maintenance contract with Frontline Plus Fire and Rescue for the city's outdoor warning sirens.  The cost is $150 per siren.  The sirens are located at Hwy 7 and Smithtown Road, Bavaria Road and 78th Street, Lions Park, and in the Rhapsody development.

         *Council formally adopted a resolution that restricts parking on 86th Street from Kochia Lane to County Road 11 (Victoria Drive).  Municipal State Aid Funds will be used to make improvements of the road.

         *Council amended the Comprehensive Credit Card Use Policy to include Public Works Superintendent Ann Mahnke.  Cards are limited to budgeted purchases only.  Unbudgeted purchases require advance council approval.  Other city employees allowed to use the City of Victoria's credit card include City Administrator Don Uram, Finance Director Jylan Johnson, City Clerk Jennifer Kretsch, Fire Chief Tim Walsh, and Community Development Director Holly Kreft.

         *Council accepted donations from Community Living ($600 to the Victoria Fire Department), Midwest Dental ($100 to the T-Ball Program), Rising Star Dance Academy ($100 to Concerts in the Park), Chaska Dental ($200 to T-Ball Program), and an anonymous donation of $1,000 to Concerts in the Park.

         *Mayor Thun commented that15 of the 16 members of the Metropolitan Council are new members, including Gary VanEyll of Chaska.

         *Council approved a fundraising raffle permit for Holy Family Catholic High School.

         *Council approved an agreement with Carver County for licensing Environmental Systems Research Institute software, providing financial savings and opportunities to expand GIS software solutions within both city and county.

         *Council approved the renewal of liability coverage through the League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust.

         *Council approved workers compensation coverage for the city's elected officials.

         *Council authorized the Victoria Fire Department to apply for a grant from Minnesota Valley Electric in the amount of $1,300 to replace their broken accountability board, which is used to track responders and layout the scene for strategic planning.

         *Council approved the hiring of Brady Lee for the Public Works Worker 1 position.  There were 154 applicants.  Ten were interviewed.

         *Council approved the purchase of a 2011 John Deer mower from Midwest Machinery with trade-in of a 1997 mower with 2,600 hours on it, for a total cost of $23,512 plus tax, license, and fees.
