To the Editor: Hi, Sue. I feel like I know you. My husband and I always raced to see who got the paper first. I never realized he died the same day as his sister, Rosie Meuwissen. I keep up on some things from my niece Kay Meuwissen who writes many letters to the Gazette. She sure remembers a lot. The paper is great every month. Keep up the good work. Thank you. Arlene Poppler Bradenton, Florida
To the Editor: Thanks for the great paper. Donna Walter Waconia, Minnesota
To the Editor: Hi. Spring is near! The fishhook (that I found first, before Bill) is on page 23 by the Fire Department picture. Kay Meuwissen should write a book like her brother Jerry (even if he spells his name differently). We were friends of Gene and Rosie Meuwissen at the Legion. She made the best Swiss Steak, without tomatoes. Marlene and Bill Paal Chaska, Minnesota
To the Editor: Hi, Sue. Attached is the whole set of pages for the new Lakeside Building underway on Stieger Lake Lane. That's all I have now. When we started the project a while back, we had the artist rendering but that is now outdated. What we have that is current is what I sent you. Thank you for the chance to update your readers. Terry Hartman Victoria, Minnesota
To the Editor: I'm already getting the Plato Pilot and the Hamburg Herald, but I will also go with you and the Victoria Gazette again this year. Thank you. Lorraine Asplund Brooklyn Park, Minnesota
To the Editor: Hi, Sue. Keep up the good work. I enjoy reading every issue of the Gazette from front to back. I can still relate to a lot of the people you feature, even though we have been gone from the Victoria area for more than 30 years. Thanks for being so dedicated to Victoria, its history, and current events. Your "old" neighbor and friend, Judy Gray Winsted, Minnesota
To the Editor: I know that Delbert (Chuck) Tschimperle and his wife are subscribers to the Gazette. He and I were members of the Chaska High School Class of 1948. The Tschimperle house in Victoria stood next to the old Victoria State Bank Building (today the Dr. Dungey, Menser & Associates building), and I still remember that someone inked "DT + CS" or some girl's initials on the north side of the building. Perhaps they are still there. I should have looked, as we were in Victoria today and had lunch there. Anyway, I talked to his wife and he is doing very well. She gets a lot of help from their family members on a daily basis. Uncle Ron Holtmeier Waconia, Minnesota
To the Editor: Thanks for keeping me informed about what's happening in my old hometown. Dan Schwalbe High Point, North Carolina
To the Editor: Pam and I are hoping to get you and Allan up north to our cabin some time. Chuck Freiberg Victoria, Minnesota
To the Editor: Hi, Sue. Thank you for the great paper. Allan Sauter Victoria, Minnesota
