Fish don't bite when it's hot. And we don't seem to eat fish when it's hot -- except for cold tuna fish salad with mayo, dill pickles, and green onions -- just like my dad makes. Seems there's always a bowl of it in my frig. Better snacking on low cal tuna fish than peanuts and potato chips.

Getting down to the chase here, did you see that little girl chasing a soccer ball in the last issue of the Gazette? Did you also notice the fishhook stuck in her long swirled bangs? So did Fred McGraw of Victoria and I happened to pull him out of the minnow bucket in time to win the $10 drawing this month. Congratulations, Fred. Hello to Libby.
