Concerts in the Park. Wednesdays, August 3rd and 10th at Lions Park in Victoria -- concessions available from the Lions -- and August 17th in downtown Victoria. 6:30 p.m.

Talent Show. St. Victoria Talent Show, Sunday, August 14th, 7:00 p.m. at the St. Victoria Catholic Church. Free admission. Goodwill offering accepted for the education program.

Ice Cream Social. Lake Auburn Moravian Church, Thursday, August 18th, 4 to 7 p.m. Live music, food, quilt raffle. Benefit for music director and his open heart surgery.

Volksfest and Art Fair. Friday and Saturday, August 26th (7 to 11 p.m.), and 27th (10 a.m. to 11 p.m.), in downtown Victoria. Artists, live music, bed races, food.

City Council Meetings. 2nd and 4th Mondays, August 8th and August 22nd. 6:30 p.m. at City Council Chambers on Rose Street in downtown Victoria.

Farmer's Market. Wednesdays at the Hartman Garden Center on Bavaria Road from 3 to 6 p.m.

Lions Golf Classic. Monday, August 29th, at Deer Run Golf Course. Register at 11 a.m. Shotgun start at 12:30. Dinner around 5:30 after golf.

Victoria Lions meet the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at the Victoria Hall on Rose Street at 6:30 p.m.

Victoria Business Owners Association meets on an irregular basis.

Victoria Senior Citizens meet weekly on Thursdays at the Acorn House in Diethelm Park.
