100 Years Ago. This is a chemical pump like what the Victoria Firemen 100 years ago used to put out fires. I don't remember that it stood upright like this. I recall it was pulled horizontally. There were chemicals in the tank and it was like a huge fire extinguisher. Gerda and I ran across this one in a museum out in Colorado. It's not the chemical pump they used in Victoria. What a special privilege and joy it was this summer to celebrate the sacrament of baptism with the families of Aurelia Mussett, Olivia Stulz, and Eagen Nystrom! It is my hope that we were able to observe the day for each of these little ones in ways that were deeply meaningful and memorable - for all of us. It is no small thing to gather the family of God in witness to the great faithfulness of the “one who has promised." Our thoughts and prayers continue with Erika & Michael, Trisha & Michael, Danielle & Robert as they “guide to Christian maturity the young lives entrusted to their care." Pastor Brian Dixon, Moravian Church of Lake Auburn Victoria, Minnesota
Biblical Counseling Ministry. We live in a day where mankind seems to be doing quite well on his own. We take charge of our lives and order them in such a way that we think will result in happiness and self-fulfillment. At Waterbrooke Fellowship in Victoria, we believe there are answers for dealing with whatever you might be facing. We believe that God has given us all we need for life, and the answers are found in His Word, the Bible. Over the past few years we have established a Biblical Counseling ministry at Waterbrooke. And so, as a ministry and gift to our community, we want to offer free biblical counseling to those in need. We are pleased to serve you, no matter where you stand spiritually. Our counselors will be available in Victoria and Chaska beginning September 1st. While our counseling fee is free, donations will be gladly accepted and applied to our counseling ministry. Pastor Maureen Bonner, Waterbrooke Fellowship Victoria, Minnesota
EDITOR'S NOTE: Maureen and husband Bill Bonner founded Waterbrooke Fellowship Church, a Bible-believing Christ-centered church in 1999. Prior to pastoring and counseling, Maureen worked in the medical field for 28 years. She has her MA in Biblical Counseling.
