To the Editor: Hi, Sue. I just wanted to follow up with you to see if you would be interested in doing a story on the Luxury Remodeling Tour coming up on Saturday, August 9th, and running for two weekends. The tour features a beautiful home in Victoria that was built in 1961. The homeowner is an architect and really wanted to work closely with the architect and builder to make sure the home fit with their lifestyle and needs. Many things in the home feature sustainable elements such as glass tile used for a backsplash in the kitchen, reclaimed douglas fir was used for one of the countertops, and conservation grade walnut for the kitchen floor. This inaugural Luxury Remodeling Tour will showcase nine homes -- the one in Victoria plus others in Chaska, Shorewood, Minnetonka, Edina, and St. Paul/Crocus Hill.
