To the Editor: Thank you for the copies of the July issue of the Gazette. I think your photo of us, the Zingrays, is one of the best we've had taken of us. We really enjoyed playing downtown Victoria during the car show. If we get hired back next year, maybe we could get the Gazette to mention ahead of time that we're coming. I was wondering if you would mind if I use your photo for some promo for our band. Thanks again for the stuff in your paper. I'm going to get you a copy of a CD of us playing that you might like. Will send it to you soon. John ZINGsheim (Zingrays) St. Paul, Minnesota
To the Editor: Always enjoy your paper. You have a lovely creative, homey paper that makes people feel good when they read it. In fact, I don't know how you do it all. Thank you. Caroline Beise, Chaska, Minnesota
To the Editor: As a result of a serious bicycle accident, Brother Otto Dreydoppel, Jr., former pastor at the Moravian Church of Lake Auburn, has been admitted to St. Luke's Hospital (Fountain Hill) in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. He suffered a severe concussion and multiple fractures, one of which may require surgery in the immediate future. Please hold Otto, Sue, and family in prayer as they navigate these next days of mending. Otto has no memory of the accident and is still struggling to understand the current circumstances. Ron Holtmeier, Waconia, Minnesota
To the Editor: Hi, Sue. Hope you are enjoying our wonderful summer and having a good time out west with your daughter and family. Rick heard on the news that since they have been recording weather, this summer is in the Top Three of all time. It has been great. It was so packed here on Elvis and Classic Car Night -- over 300 cars and a billion peep. Sold 70 crableg dinners. Lois Plocher, Floyd's, Victoria, Minnesota
To the Editor: Please change our Victoria address to Edmond, Oklahoma. Thank you for the many enjoyable years as friend, choir musician extraordinaire, and Gazette editor. We would be happy to entertain you on one of your many travels. Gary and Joanie Geurtz, Edmond, Oklahoma
To the Editor: The Garden Crawl at Deer Run is finally here and we have some wonderful gardens for you to enjoy on Wednesday, July 29th. The first garden tour begins at 6:00 p.m. Wear comfortable shoes as a couple of the gardens have varying elevations. Looking forward to seeing everyone. Judie Westby, Victoria, Minnesota
To the Editor: Thank you. Great job. Great paper. Lynette Morgan/Body Expressions, Chaska, Minnesota
To the Editor: I received a very sad call this morning from Dick Ertl. He informed me that his daughter Heidi and her husband Patrick Gongoll were killed in an accident yesterday. Please keep Dick and Ruth and their families in your prayers. I will send flowers on behalf of the choir. Please pass along to others who may not be on this email. Michelle McNallan Chanhassen, Minnesota
