Victoria Gazette - Hook Line & Sinker Column

You can't easily tell from the little cut-out with this column that the fishhook last month was hidden on the bundt cake on page 332. But the whole picture shows you clearly that the big bundt cake drizzled with frosting -- part of the monthly recipe column by Christie Schleuter -- was hiding something that would be dangerous to tongue and tonsils if swallowed.

When I dipped into the minnow bucket of entries, I pulled out Emily Bohn of Victoria to win the $10 drawing. Congratulations, Emily. The check will be on its way to you in plenty of time to buy a stocking stuffer for yourself or someone you love.
