Full Moon. Sunday, December 3rd. The moon is fully illuminated as seen from earth. At Full Moon, the moon and sun are on a line with earth in between, as though the moon and sun are sitting on either end of a seesaw.

Pearl Harbor Day. Thursday, December 7th. To remember and honor the 2,403 citizens of the U.S. who were killed in the Japanese surprise attack on Pearl Harbor in Hawaii on December 7th, 1941.

Lions Christmas Party. Friday, December 8th, in Elstan Hall at St. Victoria. Spouses invited. Great meal.

Christmas in Victoria. Saturday, December 9th. Activities downtown beginning at 2:30 with dedication of Randy Miller monument in Bayfront Plaza.

Blood Drive. Tuesday, December 11th, from 3:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Lake Auburn Moravian Church in Victoria. Call 952-210-8200 to make an appointment.

Christmas Concert. Sunday, December 17th, at St. Victoria. 5:00 p.m.

Winter Begins. Thursday, December 21st. In the United States and the rest of the northern hemisphere, it's the first day of the winter season, the day of the year when the sun is farthest south. Also known as the winter solstice.

Christmas Eve. Sunday, December 24th. For good boys and girls.

Christmas Day. Monday, December 25th. Celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ, true God and true Man.
