Another Challenge. Guardian Angels in Chaska is responding to economic times by challenging parishioners at its three supporting parishes in the area -- Chaska, St. Nicholas in Carver, St. Victoria in Victoria -- as well as school alumni, parents and local civic organizations -- to rise to a $50,000 challenge grant. The $50,000 challenge grant is to encourage $100,000 to come in. For every $2 raised, $1 will be taken from the grant. Purpose: to increase tuition assistance to the G.A. Catholic School. The parish has successfully met several challenges over the past many years, including the devastating tornado of 1925. Shelly Coenen Carver, Minnesota
