Another Challenge.  Guardian Angels in Chaska is responding to economic times by challenging parishioners at its three supporting parishes in the area -- Chaska, St. Nicholas in Carver, St. Victoria in Victoria -- as well as school alumni, parents and local civic organizations -- to rise to a $50,000 challenge grant.  The $50,000 challenge grant is to encourage $100,000 to come in.  For every $2 raised, $1 will be taken from the grant.  Purpose:  to increase tuition assistance to the G.A. Catholic School.  The parish has successfully met several challenges over the past many years, including the devastating tornado of 1925.

Gregg Lovell.  Dan Klein, President/CEO of KleinBank, Minnesota’s largest family-owned state bank, has announced the appointment of Gregg Lovell to President of KleinBank in Chanhassen and Victoria.

Gregg has over 33 years of extensive experience in the financial services industry.  He originally joined KleinBank in October 2008 as a Senior Vice President-Business Banker.

Originally from Billings, Montana, Gregg holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Montana in Missoula.  He has also completed studies at the Pacific Coast Graduate School of Banking at the University of Washington in Seattle.

As a community focused banker, Gregg Lovell is committed to the communities he serves.  Over the years he has served in numerous organizations including Aeon Advisory Board of Directors, United Way Board of Directors, and as Director and Chair of Fundraising for Central Community Housing Trust.  He is also a volunteer for the Twin Cities Youth Rowing Club.

In his announcement, Dan Klein stated, “We are extremely pleased to have Gregg serve as President in Chanhassen and Victoria.  He brings a strong, proven banking background to this position.  His extensive knowledge, commitment, and experience are assets in providing customers with a full range of financial solutions and KleinBank’s relationship style of banking.”

The Klein family entered banking in 1907 when C.H. Klein first bought stock in First National Bank in Chaska.  Today, with assets totaling over $1.6 billion and a financial team of 430 dedicated banking professionals, KleinBank has grown to 21 branches.  As Minnesota’s largest family-owned state bank, KleinBank offers one of the broadest arrays of financial services for individuals, families, and businesses.
