Good Coat Collectors. The Student Council at St. Joseph Catholic School in Waconia sponsored a coat drive from October 20th to November 19th, 2008. Local people and students brought in new or gently used coats. The students were instrumental in having a phenomenal coat drive this year. They collected 131 coats, 7 pairs of snow pants, and some shoes. The coats were brought to the CAP Agency from where they are distributed to people who need them. CAP employees expressed how the coats came at a wonderful time due to hardships in these difficult economic times. Many Victoria students were involved in collecting coats.
