Sue’s Album A symphony of photos and fewer than a thousand words at www.VictoriaGazette.com |
To the Editor: I am glad that we took internet and do you know that you stimulated us to do so during your last visit in 2004? By the way, we did expect you here in Dilsen in 2008! So you see what a family visit of far living relatives can do. I said far, and yet online you are so near to us. Finally we got enough pictures for our family album concerning the “American Jennen Family.” Sue’s Album does miracles. Further, our congratulations to Nick and Jen at the birth of their firstborn, daughter Sophia, and the same to the mutual grandparents. My wife Josee, and Giesele and Wivine (my two daughters) say, “Sophia is a picture of health.” For me every newborn is a perfect angel. Do we see resemblance with Oma (Dutch for Grandma) Sue? May God bless and protect the little Sophia. In the same way, we wish you, Mrs. Sue, Allan, and the whole family over there a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2009. The same for your Victoria Gazette and its subscribers. Bye till next year. Love to you all. Josee, Giesele, Wivine, Anneleen, Jan, Wouter, Bram, Marc, and me Dilsen, Belgium
To the Editor: Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! Felize Navidad to some and Buon Natale to others, while Felix Nativitatis Dies still to others. And for those of you who can speak Japanese, like myself, Meri Kurisumasu Mina San! Patrick R. Boughton Holy Family Catholic High School Victoria, Minnesota
To the Editor: I am attaching a letter from a 15-year old girl in Storm Lake, Iowa, who is critically ill. She is asking that newspapers across the country please consider printing her story, which could perhaps save her life. She has requested that newspapers print her story on January 2nd, 2009. Please write and inform her you will be running her story. Thank you. Mike Hadden via email
To the Editor: Hi, Mom. I’m emailing you some of my pictures from your trip to Tioga. It was great to have you and Dad here. Isn’t the train wonderful? Sure makes Victoria a lot closer! See you soon. Love, Jenny Tioga, North Dakota
EDITOR’S NOTE: Hi, good daughter. Yes, the train is quite an experience, especially that sleeper car. I’m thinking the stations could use a better decorator, however. |
