Music in the Great Hall. Several local musical groups took center stage at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in December. Performers came from the Waconia High School Select Chamber Choir, the Chanhassen High School Chamber Choir, which includes residents of Victoria, the Prairie Brass Quintet from Eden Prairie, and the Waconia Suzuki Violins. In past years the St. Victoria Adult Choir has also performed at the Arboretum. Barb DeGroot MN Landscape Arboretum Chanhassen, Minnesota
8th Grade Choir Visits Victoria. I took my 8th grade choir at Chaska Middle School East to Victoria Elementary School to sing carols at lunchtime in December. There are 50 students who are members of this choir, including my children Bjorn, a 6th grader, and Elsa, and 8th grader. We like coming to Victoria as most Victoria Elementary students live in the boundaries to attend Chaska MS East. We sang several holiday tunes including a couple from our concert on December 17th. The idea for this lunchtime concert came from Desiree Nozling, who works with Victoria Elementary Food Service. This is our second year doing the concert. Thanks bunches, Sue. His plans are to get a job or an internship in his area of study and may continue his education in the future. Dillon is the son of Melinda [Notermann] and Steve Giordana of Chanhassen.
