TEN YEAR ANNIVERSARY. Marta Christianson of Victoria opened her shop, Victoria Rose Floral, in downtown Victoria on July 22nd, 2005. Her business has grown to include more customers and more gifts, along with the freshest and healthiest floral arrangements, cut flowers, and potted plants. Says Marta, who was voted the Best Florist in the Southwest magazine in 2014, "I've met a lot of people and a lot of good customers." Marta was also voted the People's Choice in the Waconia Patriot. "I would like to thank the local communities and Victoria for all their support. It is wonderful getting to know my customers and that so many of them have become my friends. Everyone is invited to check my website for anniversary specials throughout the year."

THE ST. VICTORIA RED DEVILS. Our team included 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders at St. Victoria. We were were coached by George Moore and Bede Boll. We won a number of trophies but when the St. Victoria School was torn down, they were lost. I asked Uncle Bill Schneider if he remembered them. They could be in the bottom of the old church basement, but just do not know. This photo is from 1960-1961 and was taken in the gym at St. Joseph's School in Waconia. Front (l-r): Steve Kirsch, Tony Schrempp, Steve Larson, Tom Steinberger, Roger Buesgens, Jeff Jesberg. Middle: Joe Boll, Dale Gregory, Bill Mitchell, Larry Vanderlinde, Bernard Schmieg.
