Victoria Gazette-Hook Line & Sinker

I hid the fishhook last month in the June issue and then, when an ad came in at the last minute, I replaced the item containing the fishhook, with the last minute ad, not noticing that the fishhook was being removed from the paper and obviously not realizing the gravity of the decision until I began hearing from some of you. I am so sorry. One of my readers called his search for the missing fishhook, "painful." I do have to admit that one other time in the long history of this find the fishhook column, I forgot to hide the fishhook. I promised myself it would never happen again (It's on my monthly list of things to check off), and so far it hasn't happened again. I didn't forget to hide the fishhook last month. I hid it and then set the hiding place beyond the margins of the paper. I apologize for any grief it caused you and to make up for my booboo, I hid two fishhooks in this issue of the Gazette! Promise. I could prove it, but that would be telling. If you find both of them, and let me know where you found them, you'll be placed in the minnow bucket and if you're name is drawn, you win $20. You can tell that I'm very sorry for the stress I caused last month.

Yes, you must find both of them to be eligible for the drawing and the $20. If you only find one of the fishhooks ... well, that would be like looking for your shoes after gym practice and being satisfied if you only found one of them.
