To the Editor:

         I am a descendant of Wendelinn Grimm and quite interested in family history.  I hope to make a trip to your area soon to check out the old Grimm farm at Victoria.  In researching online, I came across a letter to the editor in the February 2007 issue of the Victoria Gazette from Diane Pehrson, also a descendant of Wendelin Grimm.  Is there any way you can find her for me?

         My grandmother Louise keeps in touch with Clarence and Dorothy Kelzer (her mother was Clara Kelzer).  Maybe I’ll have to crash their 65th wedding anniversary party on June 6th.  Thanks for the information and the place to find family.

To the Editor:

         I have been increasingly concerned about the activity of air soft guns by people in our community.  It was brought to my attention that this is an illegal activity in Victoria as well as Carver County.  I think parents see this as an innocent pastime for kids and I don’t think they are aware that it is illegal.  I see it as being very dangerous and I dislike all of the plastic bullets left behind in yards and streets. 

         I would appreciate if you could run a story about this and print the stated law so that people know and understand that shooting air soft guns in Victoria and Carver County is illegal.  Thank you.
