Father's Day. Sunday, June 16th. First proclaimed in 1910 by the governor of the State of Washington. Became a national holiday in the United States in 1972.
Summer Begins. Friday, June 21st. Each year at this time, the sun is directly overhead at noon at the Tropic of Cancer. In the northern hemisphere it's the longest day and the shortest night of the year.
Classic Car Nights. Wednesdays, June 12th and 26th. 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sponsored by the Victoria Business Owners Association.
Victoria Council Meetings. Second and fourth Mondays of each month. June 10th and 24th starting at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall on Rose Street.
Concerts in the Park. Wednesdays at Lions Park beginning June 19th with Island Time and June 26th with Wondercure. All concerts from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
