Jaylyn Jo Boyle. Jack and Jameson Boyle announce the birth of their baby sister, Jaylyn Jo Boyle. She was born on December 16th 2009, at 10:12 p.m. She weighed 7 lbs. 10 oz. and was 18 inches long. Proud parents are Mike and Nancy Boyle of Chanhassen. Proud grandparents are Jerry and Ruth Hilgers of Victoria and Gary and Kay Boyle of Chaska.
Fierce Champions. Chan Chaska U15/16 -- Girls Team Fierce -- defeated a Lakeville team to win the Championship game in the A Division of Burnsville’s Soccer Blast Winter Session on Sunday, February 21st. 1st Place Champions. After taking second place in the Breezy Point Fest Tournament on January 24th, the Chaska Chanhassen Hockey Association’s Squirt C Black team won 1st Place in the Wayzata tournament on February 7th. All three games were close, hard fought victories. The team beat Buffalo 3-2, Mankato 4-3, and won the championship game against Wayzata 6-4. It was truly a team effort as seven different players scored goals throughout the tournament. The team is led by Head Coach Eric Lorentzson and Assistant Coaches Ted Smith and Daryl Snader. Consolation Champs. Chaska Chanhassen Squirt C Purple team won the consolation bracket at the Eden Prairie tournament the weekend of February 20th. They had lost to Stillwater and then went on to beat Osseo and Prior Lake in the consolation games. The boys are 9 and 10 years old. They’re having a great season.
