*Council voted to move forward in soliciting Requests For Proposals for legal consulting services.  The city's current legal contract is up at the end of 2014.  It is the city's policy to solicit RFP's on a rotating basis for its various consulting services.

*Councilmember Strigel reported that the Victoria Band Stand project is moving along nicely and will probably be constructed this summer, hopefully to be ready in time for the Victoria Volksfest.  The 30 by 50-foot platform is designed to hold up to 50 musicians.  The Band Stand is all privately funded.  Mr. Uram clarified that the city will be on the hook for long term maintenance including in the upcoming 2015 budget.
