To the Editor: Hi, Sue. Just wanted to send a quick note saying how much I enjoyed the most recent issue of the Gazette. As usual, I was impressed with Addie's drawing. I know I am biased, but I think she's a talented little artist (as are all of your grandchildren). And best of all, I loved the article on your father's 90th birthday. You are very lucky to have healthy parents and such a large family. You look a lot like him. You may have heard, but I have a new puppy -- in my opinion the cutest dog ever. She's a Toy Australian Shepherd. Also, she's a budding writer and has her own blog: linasdogblog.com. She would like it if you take a look sometime (she's quite high maintenance). If you do, best to scroll down to the introduction and start with that post. Lina and I hope to see you and Al this summer. Robin Kelleher Burnsville, Minnesota
To the Editor: The City of Victoria has scheduled routine street maintenance in your neighborhood consisting of crack sealing and seal coating. The maintenance will be coplete\td in two phases. Phase One: The crack sealing is scheduled to start on Monday, May 4th, and should be completed within a week. These dates are weather dependent and could be delayed if there is rain. The City has contracted with Bargen Inc. to complete this work. Phase Two: Seal coating will be completed in August or September. Crack sealing is a process to repair cracks in the street by sealing them to prevent water from entering the sub-surface. Seal coating is an application of a tar adhesive and then putting a layer of small rock over it This process will not involve excavation and will not disturb property. There may be temporary road obstructions, a sticky road surface and loose rock. Once the rock adheres to the adhesive, the City will sweep the street to remove some of the rock. To the Editor: As you know, Pastors Bill and Maureen Bonner are retiring from Waterbrooke Fellowship in Victoria and moving to Florida. You are cordially invited to two recognition celebration events in their honor. The Retirement Celebration Open House is Saturday, April 25th, anytime between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the Blessing House on Church Lake Boulevard. Come and enjoy good food and fellowship. If you'd like to leave a card or gift for them, we will be collecting them at the door, but it is not necessary to bring anything. Final Worship Service for them at Waterbrooke will be held on Sunday, April 26th, at 10:15 a.m. We'll be sharing memories, praying for them, and celebrating their time in God's service after 15 years. We know that Bill and Maureen have made a difference in many lives, and we know they'd love to see you at one of these events. Hope to see you there. To the Editor: I looked and looked several times at those Easter eggs on page 24 of your April paper. Finally found the fishhook in one of them! Happy Easter. Donna Williams Eden Prairie, Minnesota
