To the Editor: The October paper was another informative issue. Wonderful pictures and articles on your grandchildren. Our 29-year old granddaughter just moved back to Minnesota and is staying with us. We welcome her with open arms. She has a three-year old Maine Coon Cat. Her mom is allergic to cats so she is with us for a while in Minnesota. She is a journalism grad. You always love your grandchildren. Malcolm MacAlpine Victoria, Minnesota
To the Editor: Hi, Sue. Just got our October Gazette. The article on our son Cal and his new business looks awesome. Thank you so much. Is there any way to get one or two additional copies? Thanks. Michele Tentis Victoria, Minnesota
To the Editor: The monsoon-like rains of July, August, and September have made a very large percentage of the pumpkins in the field unfit for sale. Even with expanded acreage this year, we will not have as many good pumpkins as last year. We love your paper and the customers it brings to our "Nice Pumpkins Cheap," but are hesitant to run our ad this year when we anticipate being short of pumpkins because of the extremely wet weather. Your paper is a class act that we always enjoy receiving. Mike and Colleen Klingelhutz Waconia, Minnesota
To the Editor: Loved Gunnar's article in the Gazette last month. Great writer. He will be the best farmer and even better President of the USA. Made me smile. I am leaving for DC on September 30 for a couple days to visit Bailey. Have a nice weekend. It was another great and newsy paper. Loved it. Mary Moore Victoria, Minnesota
To the Editor: Thank you for all you do, Sue. I am retiring at the end of November, and a different staff member will be writing the monthly Library Log for the Gazette. Kathy Perschmann Carver County Library System Chanhassen, Minnesota
To the Editor: Hi, Sue. I enjoyed your September feature on our new director and longtime colleague, Pete Moe. Thanks for a great story. With our new Bee and Pollinator Center open, I'm now gathering resources for future interpretation at the Eastern Campus we're developing around it. Of course, the Red Barn is the beautiful focal point there. I saw you mentioned a past feature you had done about the Red Barn, at the end of the story about Pete. Could you please refer me to where I could find that in your online archives? Thank you. Sandy Tanck, Interpretation Manager MN Landscape Arboretum Chanhassen, Minnesota
To the Editor: Greetings. Keeping in step with the Victoria Gazette is synonymous with the best reporting of local happenings. I'm offering you a couple "flashes" for the next issue of the Gazette, about our golfer granddaughter Christine Piwnica. Stan Hamerski Chaska, Minnesota
To the Editor: Hi, Sue. New resident to Victoria and Deer Run in June and have enjoyed your paper. I'd like to advertise in your Business Directory if possible. Can you please call me at your earliest to discuss? Thanks. Les MacLeod A & A Property Restoration Victoria, Minnesota
