Daylight Saving Time Ends. It ends Sunday, November 6th. Check your clocks. It's earlier than you think.

Election Day. Tuesday, November 8th at your precinct. 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Veterans Day. Friday, November 11th. A legal holiday formerly known as Armistice Day, marking the end of World War One in 1918.

Spaghetti Feed. Friday, November 11th. Victoria Lions Spaghetti Feed. 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. Elstan Hall at St. Victoria Catholic Church. Veterans eat free.

City Council. Monday, November 14th, and Monday, November 28th. City Hall on Stieger Lake Lane. 6:30 p.m.

Community Thanksgiving Service. Tuesday, November 22nd, at the Moravian Church of Lake Auburn. 7 p.m. Community Choir. All are welcome.

Thanksgiving. Thursday, November 24th. A day to remember the original pilgrims who celebrated the autumn harvest with a feast of thanksgiving, held as a gesture of thanks to Almighty God. Thanksgiving Day was first celebrated in the year 1621. After the United States gained independence, Congress recommended one yearly day of thanksgiving for the whole nation to celebrate. The fourth Thursday of November, was proclaimed a national holiday by President Abraham Lincoln in 1863 in the midst of the Civil War.
