THE LIONS PAVILION. We thought the first wall would go up on Monday, October 30th, but it was too windy so it stayed on the ground. The next morning, it was Halloween, October 31st, and the wall was up by 9 o'clock. It's the west wall of the pavilion and you can see the spaces for six insulated garage doors that will be locked down in the winter to make it a year round facility. That's Steve Reus Construction doing the work. Steve is a Victoria Lion. One of the four guys usually on site is Steve's son. The Victoria Lions are glad to see the framing and progress above ground after several weeks of underground installations. Lion Al Orsen Victoria, Minnesota

AT VICTORIA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. Top Left: Every month students in each grade enjoy a birthday lunch with School Principal Jill Velure. Top Right: Kelly Gallardo's third grade class is participating in this year's Global Read Aloud experience. Their first activity included a Skype session online with a classroom in New Hampshire. Each class asked questions of each other to determine where they were located. Bottom: The Victoria Elementary PTO supported the school by purchasing new furniture for the community areas in each grade level. The flexible furniture allows for various options for use of the space, including small group collaboration areas and individual work space. Thank you, VES parents!
