All Saints Day. Wednesday, November 1st. A solemn holy day celebrated annually, dedicated to the saints of the Church

All Souls Day. Thursday, November 2nd. A holy day set aside for honoring those who have died.

Full Moon. Saturday, November 4th. The moon is fully illuminated as seen from earth. At Full Moon, the moon and sun are on a line with earth in between, as though the moon and sun are sitting on either end of a seesaw.

Time Change. Sunday, November 5th. Daylight savings time ends. Check your clocks. It's earlier than you think.

Spaghetti Dinner. Friday, November 10th, the Victoria Lions are sponsoring and serving their spaghetti feed from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at St. Victoria.

Veterans Day. Saturday, November 11th. A legal holiday formerly known as Armistice Day, marking the end of World War One in 1918.

Thanksgiving Day. Thursday, November 23rd. A day to remember the original pilgrims who celebrated the autumn harvest with a feast of thanksgiving, held as a gesture of thanks to Almighty God. Thanksgiving Day was first celebrated in the year 1621. After the United States gained independence, Congress recommended one yearly day of thanksgiving for the whole nation to celebrate. The fourth Thursday of November, was proclaimed a national holiday by President Abraham Lincoln in 1863 in the midst of the Civil War.

Christmas in Victoria. Saturday, December 9th from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Santa arrives by firetruck in front of City Hall at 3 p.m. Events at Bayfront Plaza and at the Victoria Library.
