The Leinie Lounger [photographed with the editor in the September issue of the Gazette] is in Danbury, Wisconsin, at Wayne’s Foods. This picture was taken this past summer 2010 in July on our way to a friend’s cabin in the Webb Lake area. The kids all live in Victoria and attend Victoria Elementary School. The staff at Victoria Elementary School welcomed the Victoria Fire Department who generously donated bags of school supplies and a check for almost $400 on Tuesday, August 31st. The money was raised by the Fire Department’s Relief Association through their Ice Fishing Contest. This generous donation will be put to good use for students who have a need for assistance. Natalie Theresa Derhaag. Charles and Janice (White) Derhaag of Chippewa Falls, WI, are proud to announce the birth of their daughter Natalie Theresa Derhaag. Natalie arrived March 8th, 2010, at 8:39 p.m. at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire, WI. She weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz. and was 21 inches in length. Paternal grandparents are Norbert Derhaag and Darlene Nelson and the late Theresa Derhaag of Victoria. Maternal grandparents are Susan White and the late Richard White of Wisconsin Dells.
Newlyweds. Katherine (Carroll) Eldridge and Mark Eldridge announce the marriage of their daughter Kelsie Eldridge to Thomas Ferrozzo. The couple was married on Saturday, August 7th, in Shakopee, Minnesota. Congratulations to the newlyweds. Grandparents include Dale and Rose Carroll of Victoria.

Engaged. Robert and Darla Diethelm of Victoria and Joseph and Margaret Spreitzer of New Hope, MN, announcement the engagement of their children Laura Diethelm and Justin Spreitzer. Laura is a 1998 graduate of Chaska High School. She attended cosmetology school at Regency Beauty Academy in St. Cloud and is employed at Tonia’s Salon on Second in Chaska. Justin is a 1998 graduate of Robbinsdale Cooper High School. He attended Hennepin Technical College and is employed at Lyman Lumber Company in Chanhassen. A fall wedding is planned.
Homecoming 2010. Our son Lucas, a senior at Chanhassen High School, was crowned Chanhassen Homecoming King on Tuesday, September 28th. The homecoming game and parade was Friday, October 1st. The Homecoming Queen is Nicole Franz of Chanhassen. Eric and Yvette Huibregtse Victoria, Minnesota
