I'm not interested in belaboring the point nor in continuing a household debate, but the topic continues in our home as to which makes a better lunch: tuna salad with dill pickles or chicken salad with sweet pickles. The issue is unresolved but let me tell you that when your husband retires from his professional position, he'll lose weight and look better if you keep serving one option or the other for lunch. You can also throw him a hotdog once in a while to change it up a bit. Pickled herring works, too, but we save the broiled salmon for dinner. The fishhook was hidden in the September issue of the Gazette in the Swanson Insurance ad on page 38, "Reaching for the local hero." When I reached into the minnow bucket, I pulled out Judith Witt of Victoria to win the ten bucks. Congratulations, Judith. May I call you Judy? There's another fishhook hidden in this issue of the Gazette. Use email or snail mail to let me know where you found it and to be part of the drawing. Drop a line to Sue@VictoriaGazette.com or use P.O. Box 387, Victoria, MN 55386 and sinker in the mail. Good luck to you and don't eat too much for lunch. |
