At Cuzzy’s Brick Houses. It was another beautiful warm evening in March and people everywhere were experiencing spring fever. We were among others who crawled out of their homes and apartments and off the highway and headed to the new Cuzzy’s Brick House in Chaska at 450 Hwy 212. It’s the former location of the Chaska Bell and Pauly’s American Bar and Grill. It was supposed to be a hushed opening for Cuzzy’s Brick House, in order to work out the bugs, said Danny, but word got out in a big way and there didn’t seem to be any bugs, only good service and good food. Danny Lee, pictured above, one of the three owner cousins, was in charge that evening and he wore many hats to help things go smoothly. He told us the limited menu will soon unfold into their brand new full menu and that their patio doors will soon open to a brand new spring. Happy Easter. Hello to family and friends in the Victoria area. I hope all is well. We will be celebrating Easter here at our home in Vila Real, Portgual, with family. State Players. The Chaska Boys 4A Gold team played in the 2010 MYAS Grade State State Boys Basketball Championships held March 13th-14th at Robbinsdale Armstrong High School. The boys defeated Minnetonka, Anoka, Coon Rapids, and Wayzata to take 4th place in the 4AA State Tournament. The boys had a great season and finished with an overall season of 22-6. Chaska Chanhassen Squirt A hockey team brought home the Silver Medal in Puck Relay, the Bronze Medal in Target Shoot-out, and the Consolidation Championship during the 26th Annual Fargo Squirt Hockey Tournament with 64 Squirt A teams participating.
