To the Editor: Hi, Sue. My son Chris must have some of my brother Jeff's car interest (per Mike Wartman's column last month) as he has a 1988 Corvette convertible. Jeff hasn't changed much as he has a new Cameo convertible and a new 24 foot speed boat that rarely leaves the garage or the dock. He is still the "cool guy" that lives on the lake. Steve Jesberg, Minnetonka, Minnesota
To the Editor: Very clever, Sue. After three attempts through, I found the fishhook in the fish's mouth on page 34 of the July Gazette. Makes sense to me. Charles and Terry Koivisto, Victoria, Minnesota
To the Editor: Missed your deadline for July. I had a funny feeling about it when I opened the Gazette. Crazy busy taking care of issues with my parents. Mom was in and out of hospitals and rehab for seven weeks and taking care of Dad's needs in their home. Thank God my sister drove up from Austin, Texas, just before Father's Day to help out with Mom coming home and adjusting and getting stronger. Now Dad is in the hospital for a few days. So fun to spend time with the Little Grands over the 4th. This is such a crazy time in our lives. Lots of extremes. Next month I will hopefully get the ad in on time. Hope you are enjoying this Top Ten weather day. Sandy Rodenz, Chanhassen, Minnesota
To the Editor: Hi, Sue. We are trying to recruit more Master Water Stewards in the Victoria and greater Carver County area, so we appreciate your help in spreading the word. Telly Mamayek MCWD, Minnetonka, Minnesota
To the Editor: Greetings. It certainly was nice to get a hug from a lovely lady. I found over 100 collectable stamps in the donation of the 2018 remittance envelopes you received. And, oh, yes, I found one subscription check you missed. It was signed by Kathy Brose from Waconia. Tell me when you will be home and I will stop it by. Uncle Ron Holtmeier, Waconia, Minnesota
To the Editor: Hi, Sue. Thanks for printing that awesome picture of the boys with their muskies. I see that you put the fishhook in a very appropriate place -- the fish's mouth, where it belongs. Nice job. Steve Leighton, Victoria, Minnesota
To the Editor: I kept at it until I finally found the fishhook on page 34 in the mouth of Caleb Robey's muskie. I find it fun looking for your cleverness. (I know, I should get a real life!) Hope you are feeling better and better and having a good summer. And it is summer! Take care. Dianne Prieditis, Chanhassen, Minnesota
o the Editor: Hello, Sue. My younger son's team had a great time playing baseball this summer with a trip to Cooperstown as the highlight. Is it possible to include two photos in an upcoming Gazette? My dad, Willy Bongard, was so proud when our older son Will went to Cooperstown, and I know he's smiling from heaven knowing that Alex was able to have this experience too. Funny story ... When my parents came to visit us in Cleveland, right after our son Will was born, my dad (who went by Willy) introduced himself as "Will" to our friends. I think he liked that we had named our son a version of his name. He was always so proud of his family. Tracy Ketchem, Victoria, Minnesota
To the Editor: Sorry to read about your accident, Sue. Thank you, Allan, for getting me started getting the Gazette. I agree with my son Duane when he said it's the best paper around here. You are an amazing writer. I am late getting a prayer shawl to you, but maybe you can find a use for it.” Ona Olevson, Minneota, Minnesota
To the Editor: Hi, Sue. So glad to read that you are feeling better. Attached is a puzzle for the August paper called "Swimming." On another note, here's a fun story. During our drive back from the cabin last weekend, I was finishing up reading the Gazette outloud to Steve when I mentioned to him that I would start looking for the fishhook now. Keeping his eyes on the road because he was driving, he replied, "Look first at the picture of the muskies." Right he was! Cheers. Jo-Anne Young, Victoria, Minnesota
