Mount Olivet Lutefisk Dinner. In Minneapolis. Friday, December 7th, from 3 to 7 p.m. Complete with lutefisk, meatballs, boiled potatoes, lefse, limpa bread, rutabagas, beet pickles, and ending with rice pudding and lingonberry sauce. No advance ticket sales. Open to the public
Last 2012 City Council Meeting. Monday, December 10th, at 6:30 p.m. Final budget for 2013 to be approved. Costs on new City Hall and Public Works Building anticipated.
St. Victoria Choir Concert. Sunday, December 16th, at 5:00 p.m. at the St. Victoria Catholic Church on Victoria Drive in Victoria. 60-Member Adult Choir and the Bell Choir, under the direction of Jamie Moore.
Winter Begins. Friday, December 21st. In the United States and the rest of the northern hemisphere, it's the first day of the winter season, the day of the year when the sun is farthest south. Also known as the winter solstice.
Gunnar's Birthday. Gunnar Norgaard of Tioga, North Dakota, will be 8 years old on December 21st. Happy Birthday, Handsome Honey Gunny.
