Pearl Harbor Day. Friday, December 7th. To remember and honor the 2,403 citizens of the U.S. who were killed in the Japanese surprise attack on Pearl Harbor in Hawaii on December 7th, 1941.

Lions Christmas Party. Friday, December 7th. Serving in Elstan Hall at the St. Victoria Catholic Church.

Holiday Gift Show. Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, 12 noon to 5 p.m., and Saturdays 9 to 5. At the Arts Center in the Notermann Building in downtown Victoria.

Blood Drive at Lake Auburn. Saturday, December 8th, at the Moravian church from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. To register, call 952-210-8200.

City Council Meetings. Monday, December 10th, and Monday, December 17th. 6:30 p.m. at City Hall on Stieger Lake Lane.

St. Victoria Christmas Concert.

Sunday, December 16th. 5:00 p.m.

Christmas Carols at Enki.

Monday, December 17th, 7:00 p.m. Enjoy the St. Victoria Choir and Praise Bands as they lead an evening of Christmas Caroling at Enki Brewing.

Winter Begins. Friday, December 21 st. In the United States and the rest of the northern hemisphere, it's the first day of the winter season, the day of the year when the sun is farthest south. Also known as the winter solstice.

Full Moon. Saturday, December 22nd. The moon is fully illuminated as seen from earth. At Full Moon, the moon and sun are on a line with earth in between, as though the moon and sun are sitting on either end of a seesaw.
