Victoria Gazette - Hook Line & Sinker Column

Speaking of boots, I wore my Uggs to the Fishing Contest on Sunday -- as I do every year -- and learned it wasn't such a smart thing to do this time. The above-freezing temperature turned much of the lake into a wet slush and it seeped through my Uggs. Thankfully it didn't flood into my Uggs, and thankfully it wasn't freezing cold, and after a couple hours it was good to get back to the car. It was a nice day and the fog didn't hurt anything!

I'm not sure if the gal next door is wearing Uggs but I am positive there is a fishhook wrapped around her boots. She was also modeling a classy outfit for Clearwater Clothing in Waconia and standing on page 8 of the January issue of the Gazette.

When I reached into the minnow bucket full of entries, I pulled up Judith Witt of Victoria. Congratulations, Judith. Your ten dollar prize will be headed your way soon!
