Secretary of State Mark Ritchie met with high school pages serving the Minnesota State House of Representatives on May 7th. Cin Pan of Victoria, who is a student at Chaska High School, was among the participants visiting Ritchie. Created in 1975, the high school page program provides hundreds of high school juniors an opportunity to receive hands-on experience in state government. Participants come from communities across Minnesota to spend one week in St. Paul developing their leadership skills by performing real functions for the legislature, learning how the legislative process works and meeting with elected officials. Students receive a small stipend to help defray the financial cost of participation. John Aiken St. Paul, Minnesota
