The Art of Strategy. I’m attaching some pictures from the Strategic Planning Workshop held on Saturday, February 14th, at Crown College. The beautiful campus in St. Bonifacius was a great setting for our strategic planning session. The session lasted four and one-half hours with an agreement to complete a follow-up two-hour workshop to set 2009 goals. We completed vision descriptions for seven major areas of the City of Victoria, including planning and land use, infrastructure, amenities, facilities, trails, and finances. A new area of discussion included building linkages to the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. Participants were asked to imagine Victoria in the year 2015 as it had become the most desirable city that could be reasonably created. Councilmember Kim Roden Victoria, Minnesota |
