Empty Bowls. Holy Family Catholic High School in Victoria will be hosting an Empty Bowls event on Thursday, March 5th, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., right before a home basketball game. This is a great opportunity to help an important organization and keep an original piece of student artwork at the same time. HFCHS students have created over 100 ceramic bowls and will be serving a simple meal of soup and bread in these bowls. Guests choose a bowl to use and to keep as a reminder that there are always Empty Bowls in the world. In exchange for a meal and a bowl, the guest gives a suggested donation of ten dollars. All donations from this event will go to Mary’s Place, Sharing and Caring Hands, in Minneapolis. Special thanks to all of our soup and bread donors; a full list will be on display at the event. Shelagh Gamble, HFCHS Victoria, Minnesota
