It began in February, 2014, as a civil action lawsuit and a criminal complaint by a handful of residents whose stated intention was to remove four Victoria city councilmembers from their positions to which they were elected by a majority of Victoria residents, more than once.

TOWNSHIP LAND TO THE NORTH COULD BECOME PART OF VICTORIA OR WACONIA Community Development Director Ben Landhauser reported April 25th that both Victoria and Waconia are looking at updating their 2040 comprehensive plans. In so doing, they are looking at future annexation areas of Laketown Township. Ben pointed to an area of the township that encompasses Crown College.
