Happy days are here again, the skies are blue and clear again. Love it! And I don't care if the fish don't bite. Until April 29th was a long time to wait for spring. I never hear people say they await any other season like we do spring. As soon as I hide the fishhook, I'm going outside to pull a few weeds. That nice rain made the grass grow like weeds, too.

Last month I hid the fishhook in the butt of the bunny in the Jerry Chapman ad on page 24. When I dipped my hand into the minnow bucket, which was swimming with many of you, I pulled out Sandy Clapp of Shorewood. Congratulations, Sandy. Your ten dollar prize money will be on its way to you shortly.

Now I'm going outside to pull those weeds out of my hosta beds. And then I'm going shopping for my New Guinea Sun Impatiens. I'm thinking I'll get a different color this year. I always go monochromatic and usually pick Orange Crush or Hot Coral. Maybe this year I'll do Fruit Punch Rose or Bubblegum or Cherry Splash.
