May Day. Sunday, May 1st. A traditional day of festivities throughout the centuries. Sometimes May baskets are made and filled with flowers and treats and left at someone's doorstep. The giver rings the bell and runs away.

Annual Rummage Sale. Biggest in Carver County. At St. Victoria on Thursday and Friday, May 5th and 6th.

Annual Garage Sale. At the Moravian Church Church on Lake Auburn. Friday, May 20th, and Saturday, May 21st.

Mother's Day. Sunday, May 8th. Celebration honoring mothers and motherhood. An American holiday that also came to be celebrated in other countries.

Discover Victoria Day. Saturday, May 14th. At the Victoria Recreation Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Property Tax Day. Monday, May 16th. The first half of property taxes are due each year at this time. Total amount paid includes taxes to Carver County, the School District, the City, and other smaller government entities.

Concert in the Park. Wednesday, May 18th. Rockin' Hollywoods. Playing 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Bandstand.

Bandstand Dedication. Wednesday, May 18th. Ceremony at 5:30 p.m. down by the Charlson Thun Community Bandstand.

Concert in the Park. Wednesday, May 18th. The Rockin' Hollywoods at the new Bandstand and Bayfront Park on Stieger Lake in downtown Victoria.

Memorial Day. Monday, May 30th. The last Monday in May. A day of remembrance for those who have died in our nation's service. A federal holiday that originated after the American Civil War.
