GAZETTE

November 2010

To the Editor:

Hi, Sue.  I have spent the last four to five weeks without a home computer and just checking messages remotely.  As a consequence of this, I have forgotten to send anything Gazette way, having not received your emails.

I am leaving for Iowa after Ben’s football game tomorrow and returning Tuesday.  I assume that’s too late to send a column.  My apologies.  Also, I am spending more time hunting and teaching instead of writing Victoria stuff.

Son Ben just received a major post-graduate scholarship and national award.  Maybe I will send that news release and it could be my submission or bragging for the year.

To the Editor:

I thoroughly enjoyed reading about your cruise trip in the last issue of the Gazette.  I almost felt like I was a stowed-away mouse on the ship.  And you just about killed me with your choice (or lack of) desserts.  I would have sinfully indulged (mea culpa) in the delectable variety of desserts offered, not just the vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup.  Well, at least for one night!  God bless you.

P.S.  I didn’t get a chance to look at the pictures that Lion Kurt Zuppke sent to you from our Halloween event in Victoria, but I am sure they will be good.
