The Victoria GAZETTE |
To the Editor: Hi, Sue. Enclosed is a check in payment for the Gazette. If it bounces, I have a few more. Found the fishhook in the Lions Roar Basket on page 7 last month. If I can find it, everybody will. Addie Arlt Chaska, Minnesota
To the Editor: What a great writer you are. I love your paper more and more. Must be the contrast of the competition. Thanks for letting my mom write for you. She amazes me and never leaks out what she's going to write about unless I ask. She surprises me, especially this last column about the internet. So happy for your daughter, too, and meeting Rick Santorum in Tioga. What a kick! You (the Gazette) must have put it on the map. Great paper, and I know you have a great following and wonderful little town. Makes me proud to own property there, a little house. My husband once joked about how it could be our summer home. Not so funny anymore, but I need a winter home in warmer climes. Keep it up, Sue. You are a bright spot, including your granddaughter's drawings. Corie (Ausink) Boyer Excelsior, Minnesota
To the Editor: Hi, Sue. I don't believe we paid last year, therefore I have enclosed payment for last year and this year. Jim Grahn Mora, Minnesota
To the Editor: Hi, Sue. Thank you for the kind words regarding Peggy, her service, and her family. We truly have lost the best. Bonnie Wagener Waconia, Minnesota
To the Editor: Enclosed is my subscription payment. I always look forward to reading the Gazette. I wonder if there are any people still around who might know me from years ago. Would love to hear from you and maybe exchange a note now and then. Thanks, Sue, for an informative newspaper that does Victoria proud. Diana Gramith 110 East 1st Street, #104 Chaska, Minnesota 55318
To the Editor: The State of Minnesota has a new law pertaining to aquatic invasive species. The new law requires all hired lake service providers to be lawfully permitted by the Minnesota DNR to install or remove water-related equipment from Minnesota bodies of water. Residents hiring these providers need to be aware of this law and how to confirm if a lake service provider is lawfully permitted. Typical lake provider hired services include dock and lift installers, commercial marinas and transport companies, boat repair companies. boat rentals and buoy installation companies. The LMCD and MCWD fully endorse this new law. Your assistance in providing this information to your readers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Emily Herman, LMCD Shorewood, Minnesota
