The Victoria GAZETTE |
April 2012 |
To the Editor: Hi, Sue. I enjoy your Victoria Gazette, especially your "From the Editor" column so would like to continue receiving it and am enclosing the $20 subscription fee. Was nice to read in your column that your mom and dad were able to spend some time in Texas this winter. Surely has been a nice winter here so far this year. Just the way I like winter. I'm doing alright. Definitely feeling old age setting in but still very healthy as far as I know. Need to write myself more reminder notes nowadays. It's comforting to have four of my children living close by. You can continue to mail my Gazette to Harold Opdahl, Jr. No need to change the address label. Thanks, Susan. Love, Aunt Sandy Opdahl Minneota, Minnesota
To the Editor: I still enjoy the Gazette. You do a terrific job. Enclosed is a check for $20 for another year of pleasant reading. Found the fishhook by the handle of the Easter basket on page 7 in the March issue. You made it so easy this time. Doris Strom Shorewood, Minnesota
To the Editor: Thank you so much for the nice write-up you had on the Schneider family. Such a heartwarming tribute to Peggy. We sure do miss her. With our faith, family, and friends like you, we will make it through these tough times. Thanks again. Love, Vangie Schneider Waconia, Minnesota
To the Editor: Just got the new Gazette. Nice job. I wanted to check to see if you got my email with our new ad. Let me know. Laura O'Neill Cornerstone Insurance Agency
To the Editor: You do a wonderful job with the Victoria Gazette each month. I'm enclosing my check to keep it coming. It helps me keep up on my old friends and family. Diane Pfarr LeSueur, Minnesota
To the Editor: Thank you, Sue. The Gazette may be "black and white," as you say, but it's a very bright mix of wonderful things that I get from that "black and white" each month. Thanks for the monthly mix. Barb Rizor LeSueur, Minnesota
To the Editor: Heading Home Scott Carver is hosting a fourth community meeting to discuss issues concerning those in our community who are without housing. Guest speakers are Barb Wold and Juanita Cathey of Family Promise of Anoka. All members of the media are both welcome and encouraged to attend this event. It will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church in Chaska. Allison Streich Heading Home Scott-Carver Shakopee, Minnesota
To the Editor: I so appreciate your "black and white" writing in and increasingly "gray" world. I am sending you a poem written by a friend of mine, Kathe Matthews. Thought it would brighten people's day. She has given me permission to share the poem with you and also permission to have it published if that is your wish. Thank you so much for your gift to our community. The Victoria Gazette has always spoken the Truth in Love. It's a beacon of Light shining forth through the dull grayness of this world. Love to you.
