Good Friday. Friday, April 3rd. Commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, the Word made flesh.
Easter Egg Hunt. Saturday, April 4th. Sponsored by the Victoria Lions at Lions Park. Starts at 9:00 a.m.
Easter. Sunday, April 5th. Commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, from the tomb.
Holocaust Remembrance Day. Thursday, April 16th. Refers to a number of worldwide commemorations of the Holocaust that took place during World War II.
Spring Fling. Friday, May 1st. Sponsored by the Victoria Lions. This year to be held at Lions Park in a large warm tent from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m.
Rummage Sale. May 7th-9th at the St. Victoria Catholic Church. Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Unending array of clothes and toys and stuff. Discover Victoria Day. Saturday, May 16th. Held at the Victoria Recreation Center. Local vendors and businesses.
City Council Meetings. Monday, April 13th, and Monday, April 27th. Workshops often begin at 5:30 p.m. with council meetings afterwards at 6:30 p.m.
