To the Editor: Our County Engineer has been directed to respond to [Ron Holtmeier’s] inquiry. Randy Maluchnik Carver County Commissioner
To the Editor: I forwarded [Ron Holtmeier’s] email to my supervisor. Elise Bushard, Naturalist Lowry Nature Center Three Rivers Park District
To the Editor: Hi, Sue. Two very special people share a birthday on August 27th. One is my sister Dolly (Tschimperle) Halverson who lives in Loveland, Colorado. Happy Birthday, Dolly. The other person is special to many people. He has had a large influence on people in Chaska, Jordan, and Victoria. Once he met you, you were a friend. He dedicated his life to helping others. St. Victoria’s parish became his family. I was lucky to call him friend. Through all the years, we stayed connected. One day God said, “Come home, my faithful servant. Your reward waits for you.” If you haven’t guessed by now, I am speaking of Father Elstan Coghill. Happy Birthday, Father Elstan. Miss you, friend. Bonnie Riegert Eden Prairie, Minnesota
To the Editor: Hi, I am saddened to report that Brian Dixon’s dad died and Brian [our new pastor at Lake Auburn][ went to Maryland for the memorial service. Ron Holtmeier Victoria, Minnesota
To the Editor: Have you heard that Julia Marie Rodenz was born to our son Brian and his wife Jenna on June 22nd? She was 8 lbs. 13 oz. and 21 inches long. She was a month old yesterday. It is so wonderful to hold this precious gift from God. I love her so much and feel so blessed that we live so close to the new little family. Being a grandma is great. Brian and Jenna are both loving their new role of mommy and daddy. Brian continues to work to support his little family with Click Start and Jenna is staying home with Julia for the time being. I am sure you will be seeing them at St. Victoria’s, too. Sandy Rodenz Chanhassen, Minnesota
To the Editor: We would like to thank all of the donors, volunteers, and the Victoria Lions for another successful blood drive. A total of 104 pints were collected. Without everyone giving of their time this would not be possible. Thanks again. Wendy Amundsen & Kathy Sether Bloodmobile Chairs Victoria, Minnesota
