First Santa Encounter. Attached is Caroline’s first photo with Santa. Our daughter Allison (Caroline’s mom) waited in line for over 35 minutes, all smiles. Caroline placed on Santa’s lap screamed the entire time. Removed from Santa’s lap, Caroline was all smiles again. Wishing you and your entire family a very Merry and Blessed Christmas. Nifty Fifty. It was a Nifty Fifty New York City Birthday Tour for my husband Bill Piwnica! Daughter Christine and I took Bill to New York City to celebrate in grand style over his birthday weekend, December 4-6. Checking Santa’s Socks. This accommodating Santa Claus stepped away from his workshop and his elves at Eden Prairie Center in order to personally greet Michelle McNallan and her little two-year old tyke Kierra, who preferred to not leave her mother’s arms. Editor Sue’s camera clicked the moment.
